StationRipper iPod Nano Giveaway.
Official Rules
- Anyone who purchases StationRipper GOLD
this month, and agrees to the Giveaway rules,
will be eligible to win a iPod Nano. Duplicate
entries are allowed (each paid registration counts as one
entry). Payment must be received by the last day of the
month.
- The giveaway runs from the start of
the month at
12:01 AM EST to the last day of month at 11:59 PM EST. One (1)
winner will randomly be selected by the next month on the 1st at 5 PM EST.
- The contest is open to anyone, except
employees and immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, and
children) of Ratajik Software. Entrants must have a valid e-mail
address to be eligible to participate, and must have registered
via PayPal using the "entry" payment link.
- The winner will be contacted by 5 PM
EST on the 1st via their PayPal (registration) e-mail. They will have 4 days to respond
to the notification they have won, with their shipping address.
If the winner has not responded by the end of the 4th day, a new
random winner will be selected. Selection of winners will
continue until one responds within 4 days, or the entire month
passes without a winner. Once a winner
has responded, a message in the StationRipper forums will
indicate who won.
- Once the winner has responded via
e-mail, the iPod Nano will be ordered from Apple within 48
hours. The time it takes from that point will be solely up
to Apple. The tracking number will sent to the winner as
soon as it is available. Line 2 on the back will be
engraved with "www.stationripper.com".
Line one will be engraved with "Winner - July 20015", or the text
of the winners choice (up to 23 characters). NON-US WINNER:
Apple won't ship to a different country than the buyer, so the
iPod will be shipped to Ratajik Software first - we will re-ship
the iPod to the winner, if that winner does not live in the
United States, within 1 business day. We will keep in
touch with the non-us winner with the status of shipping to us,
and then shipping to the winner.
- The iPod Nano will be the standard US
version - International users may need to get a power adapter to
run it (one is available on the Apple site).
- Winner is solely responsible for all
applicable federal, state, and local taxes. No
substitution, cash equivalent or transfer of prize permitted.
- All shipping costs will be provided by
Ratajik Software, including international shipments.
- Approximate retail value of the prize
is $199.
- Chances of winning depend upon the
number of eligible entries received during the month of
November .
- If the winner does not pick up the
shipped iPod Nano (from FedEx) or is unable to accept delivery,
the winner will need to pay to re-ship the iPod Nano (and will
have 30 days to do so - if we ship the prize and it is returned
because FedEx is unable to deliver, it will be the winners
responsibility to arrange for shipping).
- By entering, entrant agrees to follow
the official rules and hold harmless and indemnify Ratajik
Software and all subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers,
employees and agents against any and all liability, damages or
causes of action (however named or described), with respect to
or arising out of either (i) entrant's participation; or (ii)
the receipt or use of the prizes awarded in the promotion.
- In consideration for being awarded the
prize, winner hereby agrees and consents, without further
authorization, compensation or remuneration of any kind, to the
use of winner's name and/or likeness in any and all advertising,
promotions and other publicity conducted by Ratajik Software,
except where prohibited by law.
- By agreeing to be entered in the
StationRipper iPod Nano Giveaway, participates wave any refund
on the software during the month of November 2005 after the
contest has ended. ONCE THE WINNER HAS BEEN SELECTED, no
refunds for the month will be given. If the user does not
wish to be entered in the giveaway, they can select to make
payment via a special page. Any users registering via this
page will NOT BE ENTERED IN THE CONTEST. Any refunds given
before the contest ends will remove the participant from the
contest.
