The Music Files tab will let you control what StationRipper does with the files it records
- On Output, place songs in Station Name directory - Copy recorded songs to Output/[StationName]
- Delete incomplete files - If unchecked, StationRipper will leave incomplete files in the work folder. Checking will tell StationRipper to delete them.
- Access StationRipper site Genre - If StationPortal has a default Genre for the station you are recording, checking this will tell StationRipper to use it when adding tags to the music file
- Default station help - StationRipper uses various techniques to detect breaks between songs. Checking this will improve that detection. If you check it, you will notice that the status for newly recoding stations will stay "buffering" for a longer time
- Use Parse Rules File - Use the entered parse file for advanced parse rules
- Download Album Art - Ask StationPortal for album art for each song it records
- Embed Album Art - If StationRipper is able to get the album art, checking this will include that art in the music file - which will show up in programs like iTunes
- ID3 Tag Defaults - If the genre is not set for a station, it will default to "Blues" (which is the ID4 default). Entering a commit and selecting a default genre will change the default for all stations
